Whichever Spanish course you choose, you will have to take both a written and an oral test on your first day to establish your level, unless, of course, you are a complete beginner. At CLIC Spanish Language School you can choose from the following types of courses:

Standard Spanish Courses

Standard Spanish Course: 6 to 10 students per class; 20+4 Spanish Language and Culture classes a week, with eight possible levels from Beginner to Proficiency. (+4  means: Four free optional classes per week: 20th Century Literature, Folklore + Fiestas, Spanish History or Andalusian Cooking.).  Each lesson is 50 minutes long.  The timetable is from 9:15AM to 1:00PM or 2:00PM to 5:40PM from Monday to Friday. 

Prices 2011 and 2012:  1 week:   USD 332;   2 weeks: USD 572;   3 weeks: USD 812;   4 weeks: USD 1,030;   Extra weeks: USD 240.   (Course book is now included in price.)

Long-term Spanish Course

Standard Spanish Course - Long-term: 6 to 10 students per class; The duration of this course is from 12-36 weeks with 20+4 Spanish classes per week. (+4 means: Four free optional classes per week: 20th Century Literature, Folklore + Fiestas, Spanish History or Andalusian Cooking.) This is the ideal course for those students (Beginners to Proficiency) who wish to dedicate a term or a whole year to the study of Spanish Language and Culture. In this way you will have sufficient time to combine your learning of Spanish Language with that of Spanish History, Literature and Culture in general. Each lesson is 50 minutes long.  The timetable is from 9:15AM to 1:00PM or 2:00PM to 5:40PM from Monday to Friday. 

Prices 2011 and 2012: 12 weeks: USD 2,790;  16 weeks:  USD 3,700;  24 wks: USD 5,300;  32 wks: USD 6,998.  (Course book is now included in price.)

Starting dates:    Same as for Standard Spanish Course (every Monday in 2012!).

Intensive Spanish Course

Intensive Spanish Course: 6 to 10 students per class; 30+4 Spanish Language and Culture classes a week, with eight possible levels from Beginner to Proficiency. (+4  means: Four free optional classes per week: 20th Century Literature, Folklore + Fiestas, Spanish History or Andalusian Cooking.). Each lesson is 50 minutes long. The timetable is from 9:15AM to 1:00PM  and  from 1:30 PM to 3:10 PM from Monday to Friday.

Elite Intensive Courses

Elite Intensive:  6 to 10 students per class in group portion of program; 20 group Spanish lessons per week + 4 hours of cultural Spanish lessons PLUS 5 One-to-One Spanish lessons weekly; with eight possible levels from Beginner to Proficiency. (+4  means: Four free optional classes per week: 20th Century Literature, Folklore + Fiestas, Spanish History or Andalusian Cooking.).  Each lesson is 50 minutes long.  The timetable is from 9:15AM  to 2:20PM from Monday to Friday

Extra course in Business Spanish

In addition to the Standard or Intensive course chosen, you will receive 8 extra Business Spanish classes a week You will learn how to give and ask for information correctly by telephone, the language of negotiating and business correspondence, and you will also study Spain's Socio-Economic status. The final course content is, from the very beginning, decided upon according to the specific needs of the students. Please contact us for pricing and details.

Private Spanish Lessons "One to One"

You yourself can decide the number of Spanish Language classes per week (20, 25 or 30), the duration of the course, and the content (general Spanish and/or technical Spanish). If you wish, you can also have lunch with your teacher and so continue your conversation class. Please contact us for pricing and details.

Spanish at the Teacher's Home

The most Spanish of all!!

Live and study Spanish in your teacher's house as his/her only pupil. Become part of the family! You will receive 20 morning Spanish language lessons per week. On weekends there are also excursions to surrounding areas on which you can go with your teacher, too. Also, in this way, if you wish, you can make contact with many other teachers and students participating in the cultural program. Minimum course duration is one week, and there is no age limit. Refresher Course for Teachers of Spanish

A two-week course for teachers of Spanish designed to bring Spanish language teachers' knowledge up to date in fields of grammar and pedagogy and recent publications specializing in Spanish as a Second Language. A course based upon the needs of your students and for you to take home lots of new ideas. Please contact us for pricing and details.

Summer Spanish Course for Teenagers

An international course for students of between 14-17 years old, with a varied social program including sports, swimming, cultural visits, parties, films, visit to a theme park and much more.  Program price includes round-trip airport transfers, accommodation in a host family, double room and full board, Saturday excursions to Cadiz, Cordoba and Vejer, course materials and social/sports program. Please ask for a detailed program.

Course Dates:  June/July 2012 (Last day of program 4 August 2012, Arrival on Sunday, departure on Saturday) 

Starting dates for all levels except beginners:    18 June, 25 June,  2 July, 9 July, 16 July (2 or 3 weeks only) and 23 July (1 week only)

Extra Course in Business Spanish

In collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce in Seville, CLIC offers an 8- week preparatory course which ends with students sitting at an official exam in 'Business Spanish for Foreigners'. The exam takes place in June and November every year. There are 20 classes per week of Spanish grammar and general structures, plus 8 classes of Business Spanish in a group of 6 to maximum 12 students. Topics covered in this course are, for example: general business correspondence, negotiating, socio-political geography and the position of Spain in the Hispano-American and international market.

This course is ideal for professionals working in imports and exports or for those who wish to work in any branch of commerce in Andalusia. On passing the exam students are awarded the 'Certificate of Business Spanish' of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Seville. If you wish, CLIC will also help you to find a job or work experience in Andalusia. Past exam result: 100% pass rate. Please contact us for details.

Cultural Spanish Program

The cultural activities of 10 to 15 hours per week take place in the afternoon or evening.

Accommodations 2011 and 2012:

CLIC offers accommodations with local host families, in apartment shares, studio apartments (both Standard and High Standard available), and at the CLIC off-site residence halls.  Students staying at CLIC residence halls have full use of the common kitchen.

Important Notes:

*   Private bathroom option is now available in host families and at the Clic Residence Halls at an additional fee of USD 50 per week.
** Studio Apartment prices are per apartment, not per person!. Utilities not included and must be paid locally, refundable deposit may be required by landlord. A High Season Surcharge of 18% applies from 13 March to 30 April 2012!!

• Holy Week and the "Feria de Abril"  are extraordinarily popular and thousands of visitors come to Seville to experience them, if you wish to take a course during these dates, please make your reservation as early as possible.
