Whichever Spanish course you choose, you will have to take both a written and an oral test on your first day to establish your level, unless, of course, you are a complete beginner. At CLIC you can choose from the following types of courses:

Standard Spanish Courses

Spanish COURSE A: 6-10 per Class. A four-week course of 20+4 classes of Spanish Language and Culture a week, with eight possible levels from Beginner to Proficiency. (+4  means: Four free optional classes per week: 20th Century Literature, Folklore + Fiestas, Spanish History or Andalusian Cooking.) The timetable is from 9'15 to 13'00 Monday to Friday, with two different teachers. If you wish, it is possible to register in Course A for 2-3 weeks, although in such cases we recommend intensive 'mini-group' courses C or D to get the absolute maximum from the time available. 

Prices 2008:  2wks: USD 535,  3 wks:  USD 774,    4 wks: USD 982,   Extra wks: USD 231.   (Course book is now included in price.)

Long-term Spanish Course

Spanish COURSE B :The duration of this course is from 12-36 weeks with 20+4 classes per week. (+4 means: Four free optional classes per week: 20th Century Literature, Folklore + Fiestas, Spanish History or Andalusian Cooking.) This is the ideal course for those students (Beginners to Proficiency) who wish to dedicate a term or a whole year to the study of Spanish Language and Culture. In this way you will have sufficient time to combine your learning of Spanish Language with that of Spanish History, Literature and Culture in general. Classes are from 9'30 to 13'00 Monday to Friday.  

PRICES  2008: 12 weeks: USD 2,642,  16 weeks:  USD 3,503,  24 wks: USD 5,226 ,  36 wks: USD 7,811.  (Maximum number of students is now 10 per class! Course book is now included in price.)

Starting dates: Same as for Course A. (Recommended starting dates for 24 and 36 week programs: 7 January and 1 September 2008))


Intensive 'Mini-Group' Spanish Course

Spanish COURSE C: This course (Beginners to Proficiency.) is designed for those persons who require Spanish in their work, or who have little time available. Classes are from 9'30 to 13'00 Monday to Friday, 20+4 classes per week, with 3 to a maximum of 5 persons per group.(+4 means: Four free optional classes per week: 20th Century Literature, Folklore + Fiestas, Spanish History or Andalusian Cooking).  The average age of students on this type of course is 30; higher than in the standard courses. The duration is from a minimum of 1 week to 12 weeks. The classes are given by two different teachers, and groups are revised every two weeks to ensure progress and to up both the level and the rhythm. 

PRICES  2008: 1 week:  USD 519,  2 wks: USD 934,  3 wks:  USD 1,373,  4 wks: USD 1,716,  Extra weeks: USD 407 each.

Super-intensive 'Mini-Group' Spanish Course

Spanish COURSE D: A Super-intensive course with 30+4 weekly classes from Beginner level to Proficiency. Classes are from 9'30 to 15'00 Monday to Friday with three different teachers. (+4 means: Four free optional classes per week: 20th Century Literature, Folklore + Fiestas, Spanish History or Andalusian Cooking.) This course is designed for persons who have little time available, or who are highly motivated and need to advance rapidly in a short space of time. In each level there are from 3-6 students. This course is officially recognized as a 'Professional Training Course (Bildungsurlaub) in Germany.  

PRICES  2008: 1 week:  USD 663,  2 wks: USD 1,205,  3 wks:  USD 1,732,  4 wks: USD 2,259.  Extra weeks: USD 527 each.

Extra course in Business Spanish

In addition to the A, B or C course chosen, you will receive 8 extra classes a week You will learn how to give and ask for information correctly by telephone, the language of negotiating and business correspondence, and you will also study Spain's Socio-Economic status. The final course content is, from the very beginning, decided upon according to the specific needs of the students. Please contact us for pricing and details.



PRIVATE SPANISH LESSONS "ONE TO ONE"

You yourself can decide the number of classes per week (20, 25 or 30), the duration of the course, and the content (general Spanish and/or technical Spanish). If you wish, you can also have lunch with your teacher and so continue your conversation class. Please contact us for pricing and details.


SPANISH AT THE TEACHER'S HOME

The most Spanish of all!!

Live and study Spanish in your teacher's house as his/her only pupil. Become part of the family! You will receive 20 morning lessons per week. At the weekends there are also excursions to surrounding areas on which you can go with your teacher, too. Also, in this way, if you wish, you can make contact with many other teachers and students participating in the cultural program. Minimum course duration is one week, and there is no age limit. REFRESHER COURSE FOR TEACHERS OF SPANISH

A two-week course for teachers of Spanish designed to bring teachers' knowledge up to date in fields of grammar and pedagogy and recent publications specializing in Spanish as a Second Language. SUMMER SPANISH COURSE FOR TEENAGERS

An international course for students of between 14-17 years old, with a varied social program including sports, swimming, cultural visits, parties, films, visit to a theme park and much more.  Program price includes round-trip airport transfers, accommodation in a host family, double room and full board, Saturday excursions to Cadiz, Cordoba and Vejer, course materials and social/sports program. Please ask for a detailed program.

Course Dates: July 2008 (Last day of program 1 August 2008, Arrival on Sunday, departure on Saturday) 

Course Starting dates: 30 June (for 2, 3 or 4 weeks, beginners to advanced),  7 July (for 2 or 3 weeks, elementary to advanced levels only),  21 July (for 2 weeks, elementary to advanced levels only)

EXTRA COURSE IN BUSINESS SPANISH

In collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce in Seville, CLIC offers an 8- week preparatory course which ends with students sitting at an official exam in 'Business Spanish for Foreigners'. The exam takes place in June and November every year. There are 20 classes per week of Spanish grammar and general structures, plus 8 classes of Business Spanish in a group of 6 to maximum 12 students. Topics covered in this course are, for example: general business correspondence, negotiating, socio-political geography and the position of Spain in the Hispano-American and international market.

This course is ideal for professionals working in imports and exports or for those who wish to work in any branch of commerce in Andalusia. On passing the exam students are awarded the 'Certificate of Business Spanish' of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Seville. If you wish, CLIC will also help you to find a job or work experience in Andalusia. Past exam result: 100% pass rate. Please contact us for details.

  • FIRST DAY OF CLASSES in 2007:  8  January.  The school will be closed from 21 Dec. 2007 until 7 January 2008.
  • FIRST DAY OF CLASSES in 2008:  7  January.  The school will be closed from 20 Dec. 2008 until 4 January 2009.
  • 2007:  No classes on the following 'Fiestas' in 2007:  28 February, 5 and 6 April, 1 May, 15 August, 12 October, 1 November, 6 December.
  • 2008:  No classes on the following 'Fiestas' in 2008:  28 February, 20 and 21 March, 1 May, 22 May, 30May, 15 August,  8 December.
  • Holy Week and the "Feria de Abril"  are extraordinarily popular and thousands of visitors come to Seville to experience them, if you wish to take a course during these dates, please make your reservation as early as possible.
