Method

Method structured in six levels, flexible to each case, including Portuguese conversation, grammar, reading and writing skills, listening comprehension, audio visual aids and role playing.

Portuguese Language Courses - Prices 2012:

(All programs: Please add USD 100.00 Lingua Service Worldwide Application fee. See Application Procedures.)

All prices include Portuguese language classes as stated below, text book, assessment test, final test, diploma, use of library, internet access and cultural activities offered at the center (additional fees may apply for activities taking place off-site). Each lesson is 50 minutes long.

Standard Portuguese Course (Maximum of 6 students per class) --- 15 Portuguese lessons per week.  3 morning lessons per day from Monday to Friday. All levels from Beginner to Advanced.

     1 week: USD 426;   2 weeks: USD 852;   3 weeks: USD 1,278;   4 weeks: USD 1,480;   Extra week: USD 425.

     Long Term:  12 weeks: USD 3,775.

Intensive Portuguese Course (Maximum of 6 students per class)--- 25 Portuguese lessons per week.  This course combines the Standard Course in the morning (see above) with two additional classes each afternoon consisting of workshops covering subjects such as: grammar, conversation, vocabulary, role playing, presentations, etc.

     1 week: USD 709;   2 weeks: USD 1,419;   3 weeks: USD 2,128;   4 weeks: USD 2,464;   Extra week: USD 672.

     Long Term:  12 weeks: USD 6,285.

Starting dates for beginners 2012 (all other levels may start any Monday):

One-on-one Portuguese Language Lessons --- USD 56 per lesson (each lesson is 50 minutes long).

Holidays 2012: 21 February, 6 April, 25 April*, 1 May, 7 June, 13 June* (Lisbon only), 15 August, 7 September (Faro only), 5 October, 1 November, 25 December.  Classes missed due to holidays are not made up.  * Despite being holidays, all lessons will be held as usual on 25 April and 13 June to avoid having students miss two days within a 30 day period.

Accommodations 2012:

Host Family --- Private room with breakfast.   USD 195 per week;   Extra days USD 36 per day.

Airport Transfers:  Available upon request.  USD 75 each way.
