Internships in Germany offer young professionals and students a unique opportunity to get firsthand knowledge of the German business world. For a total immersion experience, participants live with German families.

The program is offered in various regions throughout Germany and regional preferences will be considered as much as possible.

The program provides participants with an opportunity of gaining valuable, vocational training within a German company. Participating companies integrate participants into their daily work routines. Internships are offered in a wide selection of fields. Positions within the company will greatly depend on participant's skills, interests and flexibility. Participants are guaranteed placement by matching the participant’s skills as closely as possible.

Internships are organized from one month to a maximum period of 3 months (or 12 weeks). Working in Germany allows you to immerse yourself in a new culture, and practice the language while gaining experience within a professional environment.

Program Details

Age: 18-25 years.

Language Level: Participants must have a reasonable knowledge of the German language (intermediate level of German or above).

Starting Dates: The program is offered all year round.

Program Duration: Internships can last for from one month to three months (12 weeks).

Accommodation: Accommodation is with a carefully screened German family and includes halfboard on weekdays and fullboard on weekends.

Internship Prices 2000:

4 weeks: $1350 Additional Months (4 weeks): $650
(Prices include Accommodation, meals and Lingua Service Worldwide application fee)

Applicants must provide the following:

1. Completed Internship Application Form
2. Typed curriculum vitae (resume)
3. Typed letter to the future employer in German
4. Hand written letter of introduction to the host family
5. Eight passport size photos
