Learn Spanish in Buenos Aires, Argentina

I.L.E.E. is dedicated exclusively to teaching Spanish to Foreigners. Both group and individual lessons are offered throughout the year. The school is centrally located at the intersection of Callao and Corrientes and easily accessible by public transportation, close to downtown Buenos Aires and the fashionable Recoleta area. Seven levels of instruction are offered during the year: from "Full Beginner" to "Superior" . I.L.E.E. uses a "direct" teaching method based on conversation and active student participation. The teachers rotate classes and students (both private and group students) will have two to three different teachers for the duration of the course so that the students will be exposed to a variety of teaching styles.

Spanish Language Courses 2008:

GROUP FIVE: Max. 5 students per group / 20 lessons a week.

Duration /Cost: 2 weeks (minimum): USD 520. Extra week: USD 230. Price includes: materials, welcome pack, internet access at the school, a free tango/salsa lesson, a cultural workshop, completion/attendance certificate and a welcome tour/activity.

Starting dates: Every Monday.

Learn Spanish in Buenos Aires a class at ILEE

ONE-TO-ONE: Private instruction. USD 60 Material/Administrative fee + USD 21 per hour (no minimum duration), or USD 20 per hour for 20 or more classes booked in advance. Hours are flexible and schedules are determined by the students and the school administration. One-to-One instruction is recommended for "advanced" and "superior" levels, group classes for these two levels are subject to availability. Starting dates: any day of the year. Saturday hours available also.

Homestay:

A. Private room, cooking privileges, NO Meals. 2 weeks USD 300. Extra wk USD 150. Mostly centrally located modern apartments, 10-15 minute ride to school.

B. Private room, half board (2 meals per day). 2 weeks USD 460. Extra wk USD 230. 10-25 minute ride to school.

Private Apartments:

Located in the center of the city and only 2 blocks from the school. Walking distance to everything you need: bookshops, dozens of bars and restaurants, discos, laundries, internet cafes, gyms, supermarkets, etc. Apartments have a small study area, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, balcony facing the street in a beautiful French style building. 24 hour security at main lobby. Fully air-conditioned and heated. All furniture and electronic devices are brand new. Microwave oven. Fully equipped. Cleaning and washing of towels and sheets once a week. Includes cellular phone, cable TV., etc. No meals. Note: these apartments have an incredibly high demand, so please request far in advance. Prices: USD 275 per week April to May and September to November. USD 315 per week December to March and June to August.

Activities:

The school coordinates and arranges activities for enrolled students on a regular basis. Students are responsible for transportation costs and entrance fees when attending school organized events. The Activities Coordinator will also assist students wishing to arrange sightseeing and/or weekend trips.

TANGO LESSONS !!: 5 tango lessons per week: USD 80. Classes are given at one of Buenos Aires' best tango schools.

Airport Transfers: Available upon request at additional charge: USD 30 each way.
