Spanish Language Program for Seniors (Age 50 and up):
Starting Dates 2008: Beginners an low-elementary levels must start on the following dates, all others may start any Monday. Long term "Spanish for Life" may only start on these dates also:
Holidays 2008 in El Puerto: 20 and 21 March, 1 May, 15 August, 13 October. IMPORTANT NOTE: The school in El Puerto will only be open from 25 February 2008 until 7 November 2007. Classes lost due to Holidays are NOT made up (except for 20 March!). Accommodation Prices 2008Accommodations are available in selected host families, shared apartments with other students, studio apartments and hotels. Host family prices include laundry once per week. Half board includes breakfast and dinner from Monday to Friday and all meals on weekends. Host Family-- Single Room, Half Board: USD 287 per week. Full Board: Not Available. Host Family-- Double Room, Half Board: USD 249 per week. Full Board: Not Available. Apartment Share, single room, no meals (use of kitchen): 2 weeks: USD 371, 4 weeks: USD 711. Activities Activities include Spanish cooking and Spanish dance lessons free of charge. Visits are available to small nearby towns, wineries and horse shows in season. Informal meetings and parties are arranged for socializing and practicing the language in a Spanish environment. Golf, swimming, and horseback riding lessons are readily available.
