Colegio de Espaņa Salamanca offers courses at two separate locations where to learn Spanish in the city: the main office and a few of the classrooms occupy part of a convent which is housed in an old historical building (pictured below). The main entrance opens up into a courtyard garden with fruit trees and flowers. The classrooms are large but basic. Although the premises lack modern amenities, the center makes up for it with the high quality of the instruction and the characteristic charm of a centuries old building. Additional classrooms are located 2 blocks away along the same street in more modern and functional facilities. Both buildings are located in the center of town within a 2 minute walk of the Plaza Mayor.
