| The Solexico Spanish school, located just six blocks from the white sand
beaches, is designed specifically for our programs in the typical Caribbean style.
This open architecture creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that encourages
intensive learning. Due to the area’s year-round temperate climate,
Spanish classes take
place under thatched roof learning areas surrounded by tropical gardens.
In addition to the excellent Spanish programs, beautiful setting and professional staff, Soléxico
offers a Spanish language lab to assist with the students' communication skills. There is an
on-campus library stocked with Spanish books on grammar, the Mayan culture, religion and travel in
Mexico, and many other publications. The open air and air
conditioned conference rooms are ideal for guitar and salsa classes, and their weekly
gatherings. Soléxico also has a cafeteria, volleyball court and garden areas for
students to relax during breaks or after a day of classes.
At Soléxico they focus on the communication and
conversation ability of the students with emphasis on writing, comprehension,
pronunciation, grammar and reading Spanish.
Soléxico
provides students of all levels with intensive, interactive programs designed to meet the
different students needs. Upon arrival, students are given placement exams that are
evaluated by the academic director to determine their current Spanish levels.
Solexico now offers 2 additional destinations for Spanish
Language courses in Mexico:
Solexico Oaxaca and
Solexico Puerto Vallarta. Students
can combine courses at any of all three locations.

Students in the Executive Spanish Program receive three
hours of intensive Spanish one on one instruction in addition to the five-hour course of our

assistant services, and a virtual office are provided to meet the needs of these students.
Private lectures with professionals in the student’s fields of interest can be
arranged for an additional charge per hour of lecture.

Soléxico's air-conditioned executive lounge provides students in the Executive
Spanish Course with an area
to read the newspaper, watch the latest news or simply relax. During school hours, there
will be a bilingual, executive assistant to take and deliver phone messages, send faxes
and e-mails, type letters and assist the students in anyway possible.
Private Spanish lessons --
Private Spanish lessons are also available at USD 25 per
hour. Additional registration fee of USD 95 and 10 lesson per week minimum apply
for students enrolling in private lessons exclusively. Additional fee
and weekly minimum do not apply to students enrolled in any of the group
programs that wish to add one-to-one lessons.

 Scuba
Diving and Spanish!: These programs were designed for those who would like to learn and/or perfect their
Spanish while also taking advantage of one of the most beautiful scuba diving areas in the
world. The second largest reef in the world is located in Playa del Carmen (the Mayan
Riviera), and the Yucatan Peninsula also offers cavern diving to those who have their Open
Water certification.
 
Scuba Diving and Spanish - Package 1 *
This package includes: one week of private Spanish lessons held from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30
p.m., Monday through Friday in Soléxico, inscription fee, materials, transfers from and
to Cancun International Airport, PADI Open Water Diver Certification in 4 days during the
mornings.

Scuba Diving and Spanish - Package 2 (Only for certified divers) *
This package includes 15 private Spanish lessons in one week held from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30
p.m., Monday through Friday in Soléxico, inscription fee, materials, transfers from and
to Cancun International Airport, eight DIVES in total (two per day over four days) six
dives in Playa del Carmen and two dives in the "cenote" caverns.

Scuba Diving Package 3 (PADI Advanced Certification,

of activities that enhance their knowledge of the Mexican culture. These excursions and
social activities are educational and entertaining. We offer the following excursions:
 
Tulum and Xel-ha--Students
visit the only ancient Mayan center built beside the sea and snorkel in a
natural marine park. 35 minute drive.
Sian-ka´an– Students take a tour through a huge natural biosphere where
they can see many endangered species and crocodiles. 1 hour drive.
Cancun–
Students tour the city and hotel zone
and go shopping. They also visit restaurants and enjoy the nightlife. 45 minute drive.
Xcaret–
Students go to a natural Mexican
theme park where they can swim with dolphins, visit an aviary, enjoy a Mayan show and the
Mexican Folkloric Ballet. 10 minute drive.
Coba and Cenote-
Students visit and impressive
Mayan center imbedded in the jungle and go swimming and snorkeling in one of the most
beautiful Cenotes in the region. 1 hour drive.
Two-Day excursions:
Chichen-Itza
and Merida-
Students visit one of the most important Mayan centers and visit the
beautiful colonial city of Merida. Were they will visit the anthropology and history
museum will eat in a typical Yucatecan restaurant and will be able to do shopping for
handcrafts and hammocks.
Diving and Snorkeling- The Mexican Caribbean is one of the best places in the world to scuba
dive and snorkel. Arrangements can be made for those who would like to
experience the natural wonders of the Caribbean Sea.
Diving Courses- Students can learn to dive in a few
days. All levels of certification are available. There are many other activities
such as horseback riding, skydiving, windsurfing, etc. to make this the experience of a
lifetime.
Excursions and activities are optional and NOT included in academic
