All prices for French Courses listed below include: number of French language lessons as listed, most guided tours of Paris organized by the school (entrance fees to museums are not included), free-access teacher supervised media lab, internet access via school's PC (max. connection time of 20 minute per day), free unlimited WI-FI access. Standard French Course - 20 French lessons per week (each lesson is 45 minutes long) maximum of 12 students per class. Classes may be held according to the following schedules. Schedules depend on French level, and while every effort will be made to accommodate student's requests, a specific schedule cannot be guaranteed. Mornings year round (Tuesday-Friday from 8:30 am to 12:25 pm), afternoons from April to September (Monday-Friday from 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm), and evenings in July and August (Mon-Fri from 4:00 pm to 7:15 pm) are available. NEW!: Intensive French Course - 26 French lessons per week (each lesson is 45 minutes long). Course is divided into two sections: 20 French lessons per week of Standard French course (see above) plus 6 weekly lessons in workshops: oral and written communication or DELF exam preparation. Workshops have a maximum of 18 students per class. Schedule: Standard French course either mornings (Tuesday-Friday from 8:30 am to 12:25 pm) or evenings (Mon-Fri from 4:00 pm to 7:15 pm), with afternoon workshops in both cases (2 afternoons per week from 1:45 pm to 4:00 pm). Starting Dates 2012 for all group French courses (except Long Term and Combination/Special courses): Intermediate to advanced students may start any Monday. Complete beginners must start on the following dates:
Holidays 2012: 1 January, 9 April, 1 May, 8 May, 17 May, 28 May, 14 July, 15 August, 1 November, 11 November, 25 December. Classes lost due to Holidays are NOT made up!. The school will remain open during Christmas Holidays but only the Standard French Course (20 lessons per week) is offered during that period.

Long Term French
Courses --- A deeply discounted option for those students
interested in long term French language study. Program consists of 26
French lessons per week. Maximum of 18 students per class. Minimum age: 17.
Each term is 12 weeks long, students may enroll in one, two, three or four
consecutive terms. Discounted prices for multiple terms only apply for full
payment prior to the start of the first term!. Prices 2012: 12 wks: USD 2,634; 24 weeks: USD 4,759; 36 weeks: USD 6,922; 48 weeks: USD 9,007.
Civilization: A French civilization course is taught every week for 1 1/2 hours and is open, free of charge, to all intensive course students. It focuses on noteworthy events in the history of Paris and aspects of contemporary French life and art. In conjunction with this course, a walk, or a museum or landmark tour, is organized once a week in the company of one of the teachers.
One-to-One French lessons: Private lessons are available at USD 90 per hour plus USD 46 registration fee. (10 hour per week minimum booking). One-to-one French lessons can start any Monday.
Note for all courses: Books are not included and must be purchased at a local book store after taking the placement test. Price: approximately 25 to 38 Euros.
Accommodations 2012:Accommodations are available in carefully selected local French host families offering private rooms and breakfast or half-board (2 meals per day: breakfast and dinner). Families are located throughout Paris, Neuilly, Boulogne, and Levallois. Accommodations in a University residence (summer only) or in hotels can also be arranged.

University Residence: (Summer ONLY) Located in the 14th arrondissement, in the southern part of Paris, "La Cite Universitaire" has a number of residence halls (available only in July, August and September). Single bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities. Meals available in the cafeteria. Note: Commute time from the residence to the school is over 45 minutes each way! Paris: 1st week USD 599. Extra week USD 476. (1st week includes Residence booking fee) Prices subject to change!!
Hotels and Apart-Hotels are also available. Prices provided upon request.
Airport Transfer: Airport transfers can be arranged upon request at an additional fee of USD 127 to USD 212 each way (depending on arrival airport). Transfers are only available from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Activities: A full program of activities is offered every week. Most guided tours arranged by the school are offered free of charge (entrance fees if applicable are the responsibility of the student). Excursions, opera, theatre and concert tickets are optional and offered at additional cost. France Langue has negotiated reasonable rates at a sports club so that students may play tennis, swim or practice other sports of their choice.
